Media Man is primarily a media, publicity, advertising services, project management and talent management based company.

We have worked in and around the creative arts industry since 2007. Most of our corporate artwork projects of a bodyart, bodypainting and costuming nature were with acclaimed creative arts firm Human Statue Bodyart. We have expanded upon our involvement in the arts world, primarily in Australia, and have even launched our own photography division, well known for our beach culture photo art series. We have also interviewed a number of arts figures in Australia and abroad, and will continue to in our show of support for the world of art.

Art is currently not our main line of business (publicity, advertising and media management is), however we enjoy a deep love and appreciation for art, and we are excited at the prospect of further growing our creative arts side of the business while working and collaborating with the right mix of artists both in Australia and abroad.

Visitor and ticket holder update regarding COVID-19
Updated 23 March

In line with decisions made by the National Cabinet as communicated by the NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian, the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia will today close to the public until further notice to help protect the health of all visitors and staff and minimise the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus) in the State.

All the following Museum spaces are closed: galleries, National Centre for Creative Learning, MCA Store, MCA Café, Graze restaurant, Members Lounge, Harbourside room, Quayside room, Foundation Hall, Sculpture Terrace.

At the MCA, we strongly believe that arts organisations provide a vital service to our community, especially in difficult times such as these. While the Museum may be physically shut, our team will be working to bring art, ideas and creativity to you online. We are developing new digital art experiences about our artists, social impact programs and exhibitions and will be sharing these in the coming weeks.

To be part of the conversation, please join us online. Sign up for our monthly e-newsletters if you aren’t yet a subscriber, continue to visit our website or follow us on Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.

As we are a not-for-profit organisation and 78% of our revenue is self-generated, closure will have a significant impact on the Museum. We will be working hard to find ways to survive the financial impact of this closure and it would make a big difference to us if you would consider making a donation to help support the Museum’s future.

We wish you all the best during this time of uncertainty and upheaval, particularly the many artists and art workers, freelance practitioners and small organisations who are impacted so profoundly by this unprecedented situation.

Thank you for your ongoing support, we will be in touch with you regarding any updates. Further official information and advice on COVID-19 for community and businesses in NSW is available at https://preview.nsw.gov.au/covid-19

We look forward to welcoming you back to the MCA when we reopen.
