In
the online media world someone just called out "click bait" - Not so. As
many readers know Media Man was established
in Sydney, Australia in 2001. That's 17 years ago! That's a very long time in
the media and new media space. Answer
to the headline: Media Man management and staff have met, photographed and / or
interviewed many of the Australia's and indeed the world's biggest names in the
above mentioned industries. This
is not a brag. We thought we would make sure "the world" knows, so you,
the reader knows that we put in the hard yards to help bring you insightful news
and information on these business sectors. Now,
we haven't quite met all of them, but here's a list: Met:
Richard Branson, Andrew Forrest, Hulk Hogan (Terry Bollea), Ric Flair, Dwayne
'The Rock' Johnson, Kim Williams, Hugh Jackman, Angelina Jolie, Mike Tyson, Jake
'The Snake' Roberts, Shawn Michaels, Clover Moore, Stan Grant, Ray Martin, Eddie
McGuire, Doug Mulray, Mike Cleary, Ken Done, Charles Billich. Interviewed:
Malcolm Turnbull, Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan, Craig Newmark, Ken Shamrock, Dan Severn,
The Honky Tonk Man, Ric Drasin, Tom Carroll, Hannah Fraser, Tim Bristow, Robin
Williams. Photographed:
Richard Branson, Leonardo DiCaprio, Angelia Jolie, The Script, Kylie Minogue,
Bunna Lawrie. Again,
not a brag, but its interesting when you look back over the years of putting your
heart and soul into a business endeavor, and seeing what you have accomplished,
and hopefully you have touched a few lives along the way, as well as having your
life enriched having played a small part in so many people's amazing lives also.
For a number of reasons we haven't listed every single name, but by having a look
as this modest list it will be quite obvious that we put in the hard yards. Next
time you read an article via the Media Man Group, know that your not just dealing
with a media company that stays behind the desk and computers, but that the team
is out there working hard to be the best they can be so that the readership and
audience, along with clients and associates benefit from the hard work put forward.
Public thank you to all of the interesting people we have met and reported on
over the years, and here's to many more. For
