Cleo

CLEO is an Australian, New Zealand, Malaysian and Singaporean women's magazine.

Aimed at an older audience than the teenage-focused Dolly, the magazine is most famous for its CLEO Bachelor of the Year award.

CLEO was the first Australian women’s magazine to feature non-frontal nude male centrefolds in 1972, with Jack Thompson as the magazine's first Playmate of the Month. Other playmates were Alby Mangels, Eric Oldfield and the band Skyhooks. The centrefold feature was discontinued in 1985, the last being a bare-chested picture of Mel Gibson. The centrefold feature was reinstated in 2005 as a permanent feature of the magazine and has featured such celebrities as Daniel MacPherson, Jake Wall, Michael Sullivan, Shane Watson, Jamie Brooksby, Michael Witt and Koby Abberton. Every week, CLEO is here to provide you with friendly advice to all your relationship problems or hassles. QUESTION OF THE WEEK

I have been dating a guy for a year and while I love him, it hasn't been easy. I don't understand why, but I seem to sabotage the relationship. When things are feeling great, I feel the urgency to create drama. I know he's getting fed up with me, and I want to stop this damaging behaviour as well. What is wrong with me?

First of all, get the idea right out of your mind that there's something wrong with you. We all have patterns that we learnt early in life that affect our choices, feelings and desires. Your pattern is a very common one and is based on fear. When things are going well, your internal anxiety kicks in and tells you it won't last. So, you make waves and create the very problem you long to avoid. The trick is not to act on your fear. It will take a big commitment to change, but it can be done.
