JD Profile

JD is JTV's founder and CEO. He is a serial-entrepreneur & apprentice media-mogul, has over 20 years media experience in Japan, Australia, and Czech Republic, and is one of the pioneers in Internet TV in Japan with the establishment of 3CTV in 1995.

JD had the honour of commentating the Opening Ceremony of the Sydney 2000 OLYMPIC GAMES live to Japan. He has had regular weekly spots on high profile Japanese television shows such as The TONIGHT Show, CNN Daybreak, Waratte iitomo, and featured as the main role in television commercials for SONY, TOYOTA, COCA COLA and other prominent companies. JD is regularily interviewed for and has had regular columns in magazines in Japan.

He studied Bachelor of Business (economics and Japanese major) at Monash University, and Bachelor of Business (marketing major) at Chisolm University in Melbourne (sister University to Harvard).
