Entertainers Excel At Gala Celebration - Whitsundays News - Media Man Australia

“Gala Night“ - An Affair to Remember

Whitsunday’s Airlie Beach was recently the setting for an unsurpassed gala event. The hosts, Whitsundays...celebrated a personal milestone celebration.

No expense was spared with this spectacular event attracting the top echelon and most highly affluent of guests. Ladies were dazzling in their exquisite gowns elegantly adorned in diamonds and tiaras, Gentlemen resplendent in Tuxedo’s & Top Hats. a vision to behold. Among entertainment maestros lured were recent father, Richard Wilkins, the incomparable Kate and Phil Ceberano, and notable singers Jon Stevens and Rick Price. These entertainers performed to an intimate, appreciative list of some 50 guests.

Event organiser, X, with a background in the entertainment industry, said “Airlie truly glistened as a region of world class calibre in the entertainment and lifestyle industry”.

Best selling author and communication guru, X X said, “Allan and I had an absolutely amazing time at the Tiara and White Tie event. It was a spectacular success. The entire evening was seamless from beginning to end. X’s professionalism, as always emanates whether it be creating and organising the “event of the year “or the development of X residences. Both have been handled with panache and with her own unique, distinctive flair.”

The evening has been seen as a huge success in the social, entertainment and business realm. The local caterers, decorators and taxi companies were animated in conversation for weeks. Just like the Whitsundays locale, the hosting couple and their guests were a true reflection of natural unpretentious warmth - a magical mix.

Property developers are not generally reputed to be magnanimous, however the Xs have demonstrated rare gifts of generosity and sophistication - qualities that are rapidly becoming trademarks of this playground of unparelled wonder and natural splendour.

It seems the Hollywood aspects (and investment opportunities), have not gone unnoticed by the international community. Stylish Ivana, with her luxury resort, touting the Trump name; the enigmatic and brilliant Sir Richard Branson eyeing off Airlie as a potential shoot location for his “Quest For The Best”, and the urbane Sean Connery has also reputedly been seen slipping into the area unnoticed. The area is indeed “shaken” but not yet “stirred”!

There are a myriad of unique advantages to this breathtakingly beautiful region at the forefront is the benefit of no invasive paparazzi to speak of; the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, life’s challenges and increasing stresses somehow pale into insignificance in this paradise playground. Furthermore, this paradise is safe bearing a definite, understated sophistication.

It is worth noting that due to unprecedented demand Airlie Beach has been inundated by a deluge of apartments and exclusive residences valued at more than $1.5 Billion. Apartments and residences in the Whitsunday region experienced price appreciation of 20 per cent in 2003, according to Developers X of X, who also predict value rises in the area of at least another 20 per cent. The Whitsunday’s has for the past few years been referred to as the next coastal “gold mine” or “hot spot”, and is increasingly attracting interstate and international investor and development interest. X and X believe that the latest level of proposed development will result in even greater benchmarks being set in the region, following on from their 1.5 million plus sale last summer.

The Xs believe that the magical views; lifestyle and safe haven will continue to attract strong investment into the area. “Development” has not been permitted to convert this paradise into a congregation of concrete. Whitsunday’s – World Class – we secretly hope the world remains at bay.
