ROVE & SANDRA OUT TO EARLY LEAD FOR HOTTEST ON TV

SEPTEMBER 2004

Voting for the Hottest on TV has now been underway for less than two weeks and already some very familiar faces are working their way to the top of the Rankings.

Over 1,500 votes have been lodged with 270 different Australian male and female television celebrities having received votes to date. Voting for the first month closes on the 30th September when the Top 20 results will be circulated to all media and posted on the website,
www.hottestontv.com.au

Currently heading the polls are -
Males:
Grant Denyer (Sunrise)
Glenn Robbins (The Panel/Kath & Kim)
Andrew Denton (Enough Rope)

Females:
Sandra Sully (Ten News)
Isabel Lucas (Home and Away)
Sami Lukis (Today)

As well as giving the opportunity for the public and media to cast their votes for their favourite Australian TV celebrities, the statistical information produced is providing some great information on which celebrities are appealing to which particular age and geographic markets. Votes have been lodged from all over Australia as well as a number of international votes being submitted.

Voters range in age from 11 to numerous voters over the age of 50. Hottest on TV is achieving
widespread appeal.

Once the September vote is complete, voting will re-open on October 1 for the new month when we will continue to discover the trends of which Australian TV celebrities are falling in and out of favour with the voting public and media.
