"If
I want to relax and just chill out, consuming cannabis
can help with that. If I want to be active, if I'm
going to go work out or have a match, then it can
help with that, too." - RVD
Mike
Tyson on Canna - October 2021
Speaking
with Yahoo Finance about the debut of his eponymous
Tyson 2.0 cannabis line in partnership with cannabis
company Columbia Care, the 55-year-old said he wished
he smoked cannabis his "whole career" instead
of drinking.
"My
life was just miserable, I was out of control. I was
fighting with everybody. If someone asked me for an
autograph, I'd punch them in the face. I was just
a mess, and then after I retired, I started smoking,"
Tyson said. "What a mistake that was I
should have smoked my whole career. I should have
smoked when I was fighting because it put me in this
different state of mind. I'm very relaxed and the
more relaxed you are, the better fighter you are at
least in my case."
Ric
Flair on Canna - Feb 2023
Appearing on Busted Open Radio, Flair discussed the
benefits of cannabis, including how it helps him sleep,
and Mark Henry wondered if Flair knew of other medical
benefits and if it was similar to how medical marijuana
helps.
Ric
Flair continues to venture out when it comes to cannabis.
In
March 2022, Ric Flair and Mike Tyson partnered for
a new cannabis line. Tyson's 'Tyson 2.0' cannabis
company acquired a majority stake in Ric Flair Drip,
Inc. The acquisition allowed Tyson 2.0 to assume control
of Ric Flair's trademarks and intellectual properties
to launch cannabis flower and edible products under
the Ric Flair brand name in the near future.
"My
line drops here in Florida where you still have to
have a medical card to get it. As far as going and
lecturing and talking about it, no. I'm not that knowledgeable;
there's a lot to learn about cannabis. They're going
to have a cannabis for erectile dysfunction, and guess
who will be the face of that? Wooooo!" Flair
exclaimed. Multimedia - Ric

Cannabidiol
(CBD) is a phytocannabinoid discovered in 1940. It is one of 113 identified cannabinoids
in cannabis plants and accounts for up to 40% of the plant's extract. As of 2019,
clinical research on cannabidiol included studies of anxiety, cognition, movement
disorders, and pain, but there is insufficient, high-quality evidence that it
is effective for these conditions. Cannabidiol
can be taken into the body in multiple ways, including by inhalation of cannabis
smoke or vapor, as an aerosol spray into the cheek, and by mouth. It may be supplied
as CBD oil containing only CBD as the active ingredient (no included tetrahydrocannabinol
[THC] or terpenes), a full-plant CBD-dominant hemp extract oil, capsules, dried
cannabis, or as a prescription liquid solution. CBD does not have the same psychoactivity
as THC, and may change the effects of THC on the body if both are present. As
of 2018, the mechanism of action for its putative biological effects has not been
determined. In
the United States, the cannabidiol drug Epidiolex was approved by the Food and
Drug Administration in 2018 for the treatment of two epilepsy disorders. Since
cannabis is a Schedule I controlled substance in the United States, other CBD
formulations remain illegal to prescribe for medical use or to use as an ingredient
in foods or dietary supplements. (Wikipedia) Directory Mind,
