Cringe-Worthy
Pro-Wrestling Injuries of all Time
Wrestling
is quite a risky sport. And, it hurts to see some
of our favorite wrestlers being taken out of the ring
by the emergency crew. While for some it may just
be part of the storyline, some have had to live with
these injuries for a lifetime. Some can still make
the comeback while others decide to sit it out (According
to www.wolfwinner.com
this is something that most online casino players
can relate to). Here are some of the worst injuries
to ever happen in the wrestling ring.
How
Droz Got Paralyzed
Going from being athletic and a pro wrestler to being
paralyzed can be quite a hit. During the 1999 SmackDown,
Drozs life changed forever. The wrestler was
going against DLo Brown. And, while Brown was
trying to do one of his popular moves, the power bomb,
he slipped. He dropped Droz on his head which broke
two of his neck bones. Despite the effort made by
the medical team to ease the spinal swelling, the
wrestler was left paralyzed.
Triple
H Tearing His Quad
Stone Cold Steve and Triple H were quite a fierce
tag team back in 2001. And, being undefeated can lead
to one thinking that they are invincible and can do
the undoable. Triple Hs partner, Austin, was
trapped in one of Chris Jerichos power moves,
the Walls of Jericho. And, as Triple H tried to rescue
him, he tore a quadriceps muscle. Even though it took
him 8 months to recover, the Wrestler went on to finish
his match after all.
Steve
Austin Neck Injury
Wrestlers have survived some of the most unthinkable
injuries. You will not expect anyone to be able to
get back into a fight after breaking their neck. But,
not only did Steve Austin manage to bounce back during
his fight with Owen Hart in 1997, he won it as well.
But, he could not wrestle again until later that year.
