the latest news, results and breaking stories
directly on the mobile phone. Cross-carrier distribution
and delivery of this new service in the US is
powered by mStyle.
new SMS alerts are the second phase of the Poker!
program to launch. The first phase was a dedicated
mobile news, education and information WAP (Mobile
internet) channel, which was launched in June
and is now available on more than 150 million
cellular telephones in the United States. It is
located in the sports sections on the WAP decks
of a number of tier one carriers and can be found
within the World of Sport or International Sports
third stage of the Poker! Mobile program, consisting
of downloadable wallpaper and screensavers, is
planned for late summer. In addition to the current
World Series of Poker event which continues through
August 10 Poker! Mobile covers other important
poker tournaments on an ongoing basis.
