Vulcan has a background of over 30 years in fitness, power and weight training. Since 1988 he has owned and operated a fitness and bodybuilding Store, Musclemania Fitness (formerly Exercise and Fitness Australia in Hurstville, NSW) with his wife Christina who has an equally vast background in bodybuilding and weight training.

In the early 90’s Vulcan trained as a Professional Wrestler in Florida, USA by legendary Wrestlers and trainer of champions (including Hulk Hogan and Kane), Boris Malenko and his sons Dean and Joe Malenko (WWE Wrestling Stars).

On returning to Australia, Vulcan came to fame on the National Pro-Wrestling circuits, as the Australiasian Heavy Weight Champion. He headlined in the prestigious Mega Pro Wrestling events and many other wrestling circuits across Australia.

In 1995 the persona of Vulcan shot to fame in the original Network 7 TV series, “Gladiators”. He then went on to star in “the Ashes” Gladiator Series in England and became an International Gladiator representing Australia in the following Series. Vulcan was the only Australian Gladiator to join the British Gladiators and feature in this popular TV series in England.

After appearing in various Australian Films and Television shows (including hosting his own show on Foxtel, “Vulcan’s Super Heroes”), he was chosen for the role of villain, “Gabor” in the James Bond Film “The World is Not Enough” starring Pearce Brosnan.

Vulcan and his wife Christina have lived in the Sutherland Shire for over 30 years. In 1991 they moved to the Menai District with their two children Keisha and Zaac. After settling in the community, they later re-opened Musclemania Fitness Store at Illawong in 1999 and then relocated to the larger premises at Menai Services Centre in 2000, where they still are today.

Vulcan’s Pro-Wrestling School and Vulcan’s Fitness Training also opened at this time. The gym expanded in 2005 and became CLUB VULCAN. Vulcan runs the gym as well as personally designing and overseeing fitness programs for his members. He also uses his vast training experience to specialize in teaching correct technique to clients in his one-to-one boxing sessions.

Vulcan himself, still trains twice a day to maintain his own muscular physique and elite fitness level.

In his role as Australia’s most experienced and elite level Professional Wrestling Instructor, he teaches pro-wrestling technique to up-and-coming wrestlers on Saturdays in the ring at his Professional Wrestling School, now situated in the new group training facility, conveniently located between Musclemania Fitness Store and the original Club Vulcan Gym.
