After
finishing his HSC in 2014 he packed his bags for wrestling school in Canada.
My
dad hated the idea, the former Maroubra Seals worker said. I was only
18 and I was over there for three months. It was really tough.

But
it was worth it as when he returned to Australia he soon came to the attention
of International Wrestling Australia (IWA). Hes now body slamming people
with names such as Mr Juicy and The Ox for a living.
Its
hard work but great fun. I train four or five times a week and then on top of
that Im in the gym.

Asked
what people can expect from the The Juniors event, he said: Theres
going to be a massive 20-person rumble. It is going to be crazy and hopefully
I can come out on top.
It
has kind of gone full circle for me. I first saw wrestling at The Juniors back
in 2013 when I was at high school. Now Im going to be in the ring.
The
show starts at 8pm on June 1 with tickets $18/$14 for kids.
