Dont
rule out seeing Captain America, Wolverine and Spider-Man
on the same screen one day just dont
expect it to happen soon.
Marvel
Studios President of Production Kevin Feige, the mastermind
behind the on-screen exploits of Earths mightiest
heroes, answered fans questions during a recent
Q&A session hosted by IGN. One of the questions
centered on the possibility of the Marvel Studios-owned
heroes crossing over with the Fox and Sony-licensed
characters, such as the X-Men and Spider-Man.
I
would never say never, he replied, a hopeful
answer on the surface. But theres more: I
would say, not any time soon would we be in a position
to team up with other studios who [have] a few of
our characters, because we have so many characters
ourselves.
Even
without crossing over into each others territory,
all of the Marvel properties seem to be following
the Avengers approach these days: Foxs upcoming
X-Men: Days of Future Past will merge actors from
the original trilogy with those of First Class, while
the Amazing Spider-Man films are seemingly building
toward a Sinister Six confrontation.
