Line up, line up, it's the Greatest Show On Earth. Ok, not quite, but you get the idea.

Many a sports and esports promoter may tell you that there's the greatest opportunities ever presenting in this steroid version of eSports and Daily Fantasy Sports combination.

Australian and global leading mainstream sports and business brands are getting in on the action. Of course the likes of EA Sports and UFC want in, but now we have names such as New Japan Pro-Wrestling and their Kenny Omega (wrestler) and Mark Cuban (ASX TV executive... and head of NBA's Dallas Mavericks) about to unleash a full scaled assault. Omega is even appearing at the upcoming CEO Gaming event in Florida. You can bet that Vince McMahon's WWE is watching this space very closely, and don't forget Mr McMahon is to launch his own version of American Football, the XFL, in 2020, and should this happen be looking out for the sports betting and eSports component.

The Star, formally known as Star City Casino, now has its own Cyberpunk Studio. That's alien for videogaming hangout. You will have to book it via The Star. Pack your games and energy drink, and head downtown to Ultimo, Sydney, Australia. Note that only 2 people are officially allowed to stay the night in the room. You've been warned. You could expect a competitive counter strike by James Packer's Crown Resorts brand, including Crown Melbourne, Crown Perth, Crown Hotels, and his current pet project, Crown Barangaroo aka Crown Sydney.

Sydney based Tom Waterhouse of the famous and infamous Waterhouse booking bloodline is also understood to be getting ready for the next evolution of his wagering business, and its going to be interesting to see what Team Waterhouse comes up with this time. A little birdy told us that it's not likely to involve William Hill, but then again, stranger things have happened in the Australian gaming and betting industry.

Somewhere in Antigua or Canada, sports betting and online casino tzar, Calvin Ayre is relaxing by his pool drinking cocktails, or if its all too tempting, he's going to excuse himself from the pool and female companions, and get working on the next stage of Calvin Ayre dominates the gaming world via eSports. If there's a good $ to be made from all the eSports and Daily Fantasy Sports action, you can bet the likes of Ayre wants in.
