Why
Whitsundays, by Greg Tingle
Everyone's "pitching" something these days.
The
Whitsundays, and in particular, Airlie Beach, isn't
merely to us, about "flogging" property
and such - it's about investing and living opportunities,
not just surviving!
The
good news is that The Whitsunday region is still affordable
for many folks.
So,
who might be considering living and / or investing
in this unique part of the universe?
There's
Mr and Mrs Average Income, and then there are those
who demand nothing but the best that money can buy
in lifestyle choices. Commodities such as the million-dollar
view, climate and perhaps even the ocean cruiser -
including staff, boat shoes and all.
Many
of the worlds' most astute investors and entrepreneurial
types have the Whitsundays clearly in their sights
- the lucky ones got in first a few years ago, whist
others were just dabbling their feet in the water.
The
region is currently booming, with apparent sightings
of the likes of Ivana Trump, Sir Richard Branson,
Russel Crowe, Tom Cruise and a host of other "names".
Sure, there are no paparazzi to be found, but that's
far from the only appeal of Airlie.
Some
of the regions most successful property developers
have recently been seeing huge returns on their investment,
whilst others are waiting for the next wave, which
shouldn't be far away, judging from the tattle on
the street.
Ivana
Trump ex wife of Donald, has recently inked a deal
with Aquiplan, and many high profile "punters"
have been seen inspecting the sub penthouses and residences
of The Lyons, "La Mercia Developments",
and have become regular pursuers of the real estate
windows downtown.
If
the multi million dollar penthouses are out of reach
for you at the moment, fear not, house and land packages
can still be secured for less than $250,000, upwards
to in excess of $1,000,000.
In
an uncertain market, The Whitsundays stand out as
a solid investment and lifestyle option, the likes
of which just simply won't last.
So,
it's a case of not if, but when, you should consider
packing the "togs", and maybe the cheque
book, and jumping on he next plane to see the Whitsundays
for yourself.
