Like many Australians, we first heard of Bernie Shakeshaft and his team of people (and dogs), when Backtrack Boys (the documentary) was broadcast on Australian television (via SBS for most) circa September 2019. The film took two years to produce, and this brilliant piece of filmmaking (on a real life story) became known across the nation.
