Hello
again, everyone! It’s been quite some time since
we saw most of you at last year’s Nice Shorts
Awards, but that’s only because we have been
in the midst of something grand.
Nice
Shorts is about to set a much bigger stage for filmmakers
and film buffs alike.
Late
last year, the website was acquired by our friends
at destra media and we’re now in the process
of redesigning the site with even more focus around
the film community.
destra
media has always focused on building strong online
communities and maintaining a creative integrity that
attracts artists from as many backgrounds as possible.
With successful sites such as TheScene.com.au and
MP3.com.au, Nice Shorts will become the haven for
anyone interested in the world of film.
With
many ideas being sketched out for a new version
of the site, we are also looking for your input.

NICE
SHORTS ON THE AURORA COMMUNITY TV CHANNEL
Nice
Shorts, Brand New Media and The Aurora Channel
are excited to bring Nice Shorts users the opportunity
to have their shorts shown on our very own TV
show!
From
26th February, the creatively entitled Nice Shorts
will air twice a week and will feature films made
by the creative minds using the website.
We
are currently on the hunt for exceptional new
films, old films and everything in between, so
if you think you would like to be a part of our
new show, films must:
# not
exceed 10 minutes in length
# be in a high-quality format (betacam, or raw
format on DVD)
