2008 Relay for Life being held in Nowra on the South Coast

Nowra (NSW) Showground on the 29th – 30th of March

The Relay for Life is held each year in order to raise funds and awareness of Cancer. The money raised by Relay for Life is used to fund The Cancer Council NSW state –wide strategic plan. The funds are dispersed into the following areas:

• Undertaking high quality research
• Advocating on cancer issues
• Providing information and services to the public
• Supporting people and families dealing with cancer
