The Cubical

THE CUBICAL

The Cubical are a five piece psychedelic blues band based in Liverpool, England. Formed in 2003, they quickly established a huge fan base in the city due to their wild performances as the band would sometimes be as drunk as the crowd.

They combine upbeat danceable bluesy tunes with a lyrical Intensity which is rarely heard these days, this has heard them be compared to: The Doors, Captain Beefheart, Tom Waits, The Rolling Stones, Nick Cave and Bob Dylan.

The Cubical have spent the last few years honing their craft supporting the likes of The Futureheads, The Magic Band and The Zutons and traveling to every corner of the UK earning many a celebrity fan along the way.

By late 2005 such was the excitement about the band that their Scuttlers Crimes EP sold out in two days and they where rated by Mojo Magazine as one of the "most exciting things of 2005."

In March 2006 The Cubical were flown over to L.A for a record industry showcase which alerted the attention of the legendary producer Dave Sardy to whom the band had been recommended to by Oasis front man Noel Gallagher. Suitably this impressed, a Sardy produced album which is in the pipeline for the end of 2006 has given the band and all involved an indication that 2007 will be a very busy year for The Cubical boys.

Dave Sardy has produced albums for the following artists:
Autolux The Dandy Warhols Dirty Pretty Things Enon Far Helmet Hot Hot Heat Hundred Reasons Jet Marilyn Manson Oasis Slayer The Thrills Wolfmother
