Makin
Paul
has been in the media for over 40 years, starting
as a cine-cameraman then graduating to the world of
journalism where he worked both in television and
radio.
Acting
has also been part of Pauls life, having appeared
in numerous stage plays, television series and feature
films. In recent times he worked behind the scenes
as an Executive Producer of the national television
program Today Tonight, he took on the role of News
Director and News Presenter at national broadcaster
Radio2 and worked as a News Presenter at ABC Newsradio.
Paul
worked as a Journalist at 2UE in the 1970s and
was the first reporter on the scene at the Granville
rail disaster in 1977.
Paul
runs on a regular basis including the Adelaide City
to Bay Fun Run, City to Surf in Sydney and he regularly
attends a gym as well as running and swimming.
Paul
is an active member of South Sydney Rugby League Club,
a keen theatre and moviegoer and plays some golf very
