The Undertaker Appears Alongside Kevin Hart In Super Bowl LVII DraftKings Commercial

Representing DraftKings, Kevin Hart is throwing a Super Bowl party at his house and informing the guests that everyone will get a free bet to use on DraftKings for the big game. He runs into The Undertaker as part of the skit, as well as other celebrities like Ludicrous and Tony Hawk.

DraftKings has been working in tandem with WWE since March 2021 when it was announced that they'd entered into a gaming partnership. A celebratory, free-to-play pool to bet on that year's WrestleMania nights followed the announcement.

Pepsi Zero Sugar: Steve Martin and Ben Stiller gave mini-classes on acting. So, do they really drink this stuff? Probably not, but it was fun to watch them pretend, and enhanced by the one-two punch of it.

Super Bowl advertising news: Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson
(Wrestling Observer Newsletter)

Dwayne Johnson was a big winner in the Super Bowl advertising competition. With ads this year going between $3.5 million and $4 million for 30 seconds, Johnson was in two ads that according to the research agency Zimmerman Advertising, were two of the five most effective ads during the broadcast. People were surveyed not on the usual standby of their favorite commercial, but what commercials caused them to want to buy a product that before they wouldn’t have bought. The most effective commercial was for the movie “The Lone Ranger,” which had nothing to do with Johnson. However, No. 2 was the advertising for “Fast and Furious 6,” a major game sponsor, a movie that includes Johnson and Gina Carano as two of the top stars. It was noted in surveys, and this may actually be a pro wrestling lesson in some form because it relates to the old phrase that “funny doesn’t equal money” (which isn’t always the case in wrestling but that doesn’t stop it from being a saying), that ads targeted comedy geared toward men may have been well received, but bombed as far as impact on buying the product was concerned. Several ads, all humor based, actually resulted in people not wanting to buy the product. What was notable is none of the most effective ads even cracked the 20 most liked ads, showing a huge difference between what people saw as entertaining ads with those that helped business.

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson Continues His Journey Towards WrestleMania Match With John Cena

Never before, never again, reads the tagline for this WrestleMania match of the decade (if not century).

One one side of the ring is wrestler, turned Hollywood movie megastar, Johnson, and on the other side, wrestler - rapper (and occasional actor, John Cena).

In old school terms, there is a lot of "heat" between the two, or at least that's what the WWE storyline would have you believe.

WWE head honcho Vince McMahon is set to make a financial killing with this with live tickets, PPV (including Australia's Foxtel - Main Event), merchandising, advertising and god knows what else.

Fruity pebbles are set to collide as Mr 'You Can't See Me' Cena wrestles with "The Most Electrifying Man In Sports Entertainment" with a lot of 'Boots To Asses" thrown in there.

WrestleMania is a bit of a triple headliner this year with CM Punk ("The Best In The World" VS Chris Jericho ("The best in the world at everything I do", then there's Daniel Bryan VS Sheamus, and how can forget The Undertaker VS Triple H, as Hunter attempts to end The Undertakers's WrestleMania winning streak inside a 'Hell In A Cell' cage match.

All up the show is pretty loaded and may actually produce one or two matches of the year, but time will tell. Before you ask, no Brock Lesnar as he's still under contract to the UFC, even though he's retired from MMA. UFC are set to invade Sydney's AllPhones Arena on the 3rd March 2012.

The live WWE RAW tour will hit Sydney, Australia on Friday 31st August 2012. And if they tour Perth, WA they will likely perform at Crown Perth (formally known as Burswood Casino or Burswood Entertainment Complex).

Something tells us that Austin will be leaving his Broken Skull Ranch in Texas to catch WrestleMania close up, and so should you.

Oh, if you didn't hear already, The Rock stars in Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, which is currently breaking box office records in Australia, the US, and in most other parts of the world.

One last thing... kids, don't try this at home or anywhere else. Leave it to the professionals.
