I'm seeing him really, I feel like he's getting to be himself. And I'll tell you, when I watch Solo, I'm telling you, this is his breakout moment. He is fun to watch."

Undertaker Hurls Mankind Off Hell in a Cell 28 Years Ago

On June 28, 1998, at WWF King of the Ring in Pittsburgh's Civic Arena, The Undertaker and Mankind unleashed brutal chaos inside the third-ever Hell in a Cell. Undertaker chokeslammed Foley through the cage roof onto a steel chair after the table plunge, pinning him after 17 minutes despite Foley's concussion, dislocated jaw, lost teeth and more. Foley's grit shone as he later interfered in the main event, and the match redefined the stipulation's intensity during the Attitude Era. (Media Man Peg-On): Missing Hell In A Cell today! Can you top that? Missing Bronson Reed who has been training hard and is in great shape. Speed Tsunami off the top!?

Get ready for another incredible episode of Monday Night Raw, featuring World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk, Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar, Women’s Intercontinental Champion AJ and more.

Bloodline Ambush Sets Punk vs. Reigns at WrestleMania 42

Monday Night Raw closed with The Bloodline overwhelming World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk, confirming his title defense against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 42 on April 18-19 in Las Vegas. It's a rematch from WrestleMania 41, but now Reigns has Bloodline backup after Punk mocked their family reliance all night. Fans split on the 3-on-1 beatdown, with some cheering Reigns' dominance and others questioning the interference, while the card stacks up with matches like Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton and more.

Stephanie Vaquer and Liv Morgan Erupt in Brutal WWE Raw Brawl
Last updated

Women's World Champion Stephanie Vaquer surprised challenger Liv Morgan on Monday's WWE Raw, sparking a fierce brawl where Morgan slammed Vaquer into a sparking production monitor and Vaquer answered with stiff shots and a crushing powerbomb on concrete. The chaos escalated with haymakers amid production gear, as commentators called it deeply personal ahead of their WrestleMania 42 title match on April 19. This heated feud began in February when Rumble winner Morgan picked Vaquer as her opponent, building hype with Vaquer's CMLL background and Morgan's quest for payback and gold.

Paul Heyman To ScreenRant

"I hope so. I hope the product is always evolving. Roman Reigns and I always like to say, if we can look back on things that we did 6 months ago, and we can even watch it anymore, then we haven't improved that much, have we? Of course the product is gonna change when it goes on Netflix. How could it not? It's the biggest streaming service in the world. It's the distribution portal now for anyone who wants a level of prestige or placement in the culture. So, once we get on Netflix, the approach to how we present the product must change, must evolve, must upgrade, must be enhanced, must be elevated. If not, what are we doing? How are we not taking advantage of that opportunity?"

"So, yes, the product will change on Netflix. Yes, it will be intentional. Yes, it will be with the help and the interaction of the audience itself. And, no, I make no predictions about it because the culture will be different when we get on to Netflix. And the culture itself will dictate how far we go in terms of layers of stories. And at the same time, the accountability will be on us in terms of driving that culture. The same way music drives its culture, the same way sneaker fandom drives its culture, the same way music can drive fashion and sports and other cultures, we will drive the culture. We just have to get embedded into it first."

"...You said the Attitude Era was the biggest, most robust... I don't think that is accurate anymore. I think it's right now, and I think that the moment that we are going through right now, I was in the Attitude Era at the peak of it as you were. We didn't realize what it was in the moment. Having seen that, I see this and I see it way bigger. I see this as this different moment in time in the business and it being something different. And you mentioned the Triple H Era, I don't think it's that. I think this at the end of it is going to be called the Netflix Era. That's where the big change is."

News

Triple H To Sports Illustrated

"It will be flexible. It will be flexible in I don’t necessarily know the time constraints of network television or cable television apply. It’s a slightly different platform. Much like many episodic shows, they have the ability to do whatever the show needs to have down. If this episode needs to be an hour, great, it’s an hour. If the next episode needs to be 42 minutes, it’s 42 minutes. It’s what makes for the best product. I’m not saying we’re going to be 42 minutes, but clearly we’ll deliver the product in a way that is best for Netflix and their business model and best for our storytelling."

Media Man: Special thanks WWE, Netflix and X! Much respect to all involved.

Foxtel Group to become exclusive destination for WWE in Australia

STAMFORD, Conn., September 27, 2022 – The Foxtel Group and WWE today announced a major new multi-year partnership that will see Foxtel Group’s portfolio of entertainment brands become the home of WWE in Australia.

The new deal will deliver the biggest line-up of WWE’s live and on demand content to Foxtel Group’s 4.5 million subscribers, on Foxtel as well as the rapidly growing streaming services, Kayo Sports and BINGE.

Foxtel Group-WWE Partnership Key Points:

BINGE will become the new streaming home of WWE Network in Australia from January 2023 with all WWE Premium Live Events, including Royal Rumble and WrestleMania 39, and entertainment content available with a BINGE subscription, starting from just $10 per month.
WWE Network’s original programming and vast collection of archived content will be available on BINGE.

WWE will continue to be available to all Foxtel subscribers on both the FOX8 channel and on a new, dedicated 24/7 WWE channel to launch from December 2022. The Foxtel Group will broadcast on both these channels all of WWE’s Premium Live Events, previously only available through pay-per-view, at no additional charge to subscribers, plus Weekly Live Episodes of Raw, SmackDown and NXT.

Selected content will continue to be available via Kayo Sports.

Foxtel Group Chief Content and Commercial Officer, Amanda Laing, said: “We are thrilled to remain the long-term partner of WWE, and be part of what will be an exciting new chapter for WWE in Australia.

The reach of the Foxtel Group is a game-changer for our partners such as WWE. It’s why sport and entertainment partners in Australia and around the globe, including major Hollywood studios and world-leading sports and now WWE, continue to choose the Foxtel Group to showcase their content and build their audience reach in Australia. We are particularly pleased to offer all our Foxtel subscribers access to WWE’s Premium Live Events, that were previously only available on a pay-per-view basis for up to $30 per event, for no extra cost.”

BINGE Executive Director, Alison Hurbert-Burns said: “For generations WWE has delighted fans across the globe and we’re thrilled this expanded partnership makes BINGE the new streaming home of WWE in Australia.”

“We can’t wait to bring WWE’s unpredictable drama, larger-than-life personalities from past and present including Roman Reigns, Rey Mysterio, Ronda Rousey, John Cena and The Undertaker, along with all the world-class WWE action to passionate Australian fans.

“It’s a great fit to welcome WWE and its year-round entertainment, including all WWE Network content and Premium Live Events, to the home of the world’s best shows on BINGE.”

WWE Chairwoman and co-CEO, Stephanie McMahon, said: “With its far-reaching and engaged audience, the Foxtel Group has been a trusted and long-standing partner of WWE for more than 20 years. We look forward to expanding our partnership with the Foxtel Group, and welcoming BINGE as the new streaming home of WWE Network in the region.
