My
WWE Contract Ends Today
On
WWEs approach to talent and storylines:
You
have this company, and its worth billions, right?
And you have public shareholders, and you dont
want to hire anything less than the best of the best.
You have a whole roster full of people that are incredible.
Some people, for lack of better words, they get [cast]
as background, some people get [cast] as supporting
actors, and then some people are the leads.
On
his goal to show he can be a top guy: Im
gonna show them I can be that guy. The way I look
at it, Monday Night Raw tonight could be that night
that changes the direction of your career, but you
need to be ready for it.
On
his contract status: You know, August 10th,
its up. Thats another situation thats
like on top of everything else going on thats
confusing and stressful, because I expressed interest
to renegotiate in early January with WWE. Like I think
its crazy. Its preposterous that anyone
would think that I wouldnt want to be here or
like go somewhere else. And its nothing against
anywhere else, but like Im fully committed.
Im here. There isnt a world that exists
where I dont think Ive ever made that
so entirely clear.
But maybe its just the general nature
of people where they think in in all things, like
if somethings not working out, theyll
go somewhere else. Im really not like that.
Like, I will bang my head against the pavement until
you know, the sidewalk breaks and we get to the basement.
Its just the way I dont know. Its
just the way I am. And its frustrating because
like you know, you express your interest to
stay and be here and and and do things. And Im
not going to beg. Ive already made it clear.
On
the delay of negotiations around his contract: Many
months have gone by and never had a single conversation
about it until recently. And I dont even feel
like the conversation I had recently was like an actual
serious one. The conversation made me really angry,
because I just didnt feel like it was a real
conversation. Someone had contacted me and we had
briefly discussed it. It was a very short conversation,
and the conversation was done. And there wasnt
really anything that was discussed of real substance.
On
why the discussion bothered him: Actually, it
didnt make me angry and it didnt make
me upset. It just really profoundly disappointed me.
Because I think about this business probably differently
than the person I was speaking to, because of the
nature of what I do. And when I look around at other
people that do what I do, some of them have broken
their necks. They sacrifice a lot under the guise
of being appreciated and rewarded fairly. And some
of them are no longer here as a result of the life
that they lived, through the abuse that we subject
ourselves in performing. And thats on us. Thats
not on anybody else. But like theres a toll
that we all pay to do this and we know that.
On
his future with WWE: So, whatevers going
to happen is going to happen. What I would like to
happen, I would love to stay with WWE. Um, and Id
love ideally to finish my career there. I really would.
I dont I dont know whats going to
happen, though.
On
getting support from guys like Bobby Lashley, William
Regal and Bully Ray: To get that sort of validation
from people who have been in the business and done
just about everything. For them to its
one thing when they say it to you privately. But then
when they publicly say it, theres theres
a deliberate intention with that to help a brother.
And I have everybody everybody asking
me whats going on. Which it doesnt
bother me. I feel really supported. I definitely feel
supported by the boys. A lot of the ladies talk to
Scarlett about everything. We feel really supported.
On
the ups and downs of doing media: But then it
becomes like its difficult to talk about.
Could the conversations youre having become
detrimental? You dont mean for them to be. And
then, you know, you have reporters asking you about
it. And I generally like to do media because we can
cover ground that perhaps the television show just
realistically cant afford us to cover. Letting
fans in you know, we have the Unreal show now.
Theres a huge culture of fans who like that
type of stuff. I do like doing media, but what I dont
like doing about it is like, you know, you get these
people that like rip certain things that youre
saying without the context and use them for sensationalized
headlines, for clickbait and stuff like that. You
know, now I know why a lot of the top stars dont
like doing media, because they just dont want
to be attached or associated with that. They dont
want to feel like theyre walking through some
sort of weird f**king minefield where people wont
actually look up the articles or the interviews. Theyll
just read the headline in their newsfeed and then
it generates some sort of like negative or derogatory
opinion when thats not even really how you meant
it or how you even really said it. I want to do more.
And Id like to do it under the premise of it
being fair. And I dont think that theres
anything outrageous about what the f**k I just said.
I remember in the beginning some people were
saying, Hey, I wouldnt take it seriously.
Its not going to last or Lets
see if its for real when you go out there tonight
or if its still there when were in a different
city or state. When it was still there and it
got louder and louder every week, that went away and
it was, Were not really ready to fully
embrace that. I was being told by certain people,
Dont acknowledge it, which felt
really wrong because having a connection with the
audience, especially one like this, this doesnt
just come around for everybody. It wasnt something
that was constructed or thought of. This happened
organically through a series of events and I wouldnt
even say its from something that happened this
year. This is something that is happening because
of what has happened over the last three years. Were
getting to a tipping point and it can be stated that
it started because I punched through something and
everyone saw what was on the other side of that. I
dont feel like we are all collectively going
in direction that the audience would like us to go
in. That part doesnt feel good. Things feel
f**ked. Its impossible to ignore it. I dont
want people to feel like they are being ignored, and
a lot of them do, which is why its getting louder.
I knew this was going to happen. If we didnt
lean into what the audience was asking for and what
they wanted to see, theyre going to get louder.
Pretending its not there or convincing ourselves
that its going to go away, its not. This
isnt by a clever design, either. A lot of people
thought or were telling me, Its going
to go away. I knew it wasnt.
Im
building a relationship and having a relationship
with the audience, sometimes, with certain people,
to me, it feels like theyre treating it as if
Im being rebellious or that its a problem
that this has happened. This should not feel that
way. It should not be treated like its a problem.
It makes it feel like you outperformed or got ahead
of something that they didnt think you would
get ahead of and they dont like that you have
gotten ahead of it. Thats the way it feels,
and its not a good feeling. Thats based
on conversations, things people have said. The merchandise,
when it started to blow up, I had no idea until fans
started pointing it out online. I go back to my points
of contact and the company and ask them, Is
this true? Theyre like, We dont
know. How do you not know? I wanted to know
if it was true. I did some digging and I came to find
out it is true. Karrion Kross became a top seller
through fan engagement. Its amazing. People
can say whatever they want about the online fans.
I know the negativity is not welcomed and theyre
not going to create and book around that, I understand
that part, but support online is different because
a lot of the fans online are people that are in other
states who couldnt make it to the current state
of the show, but theyll be there next week when
you show up to their town. It was the online community
that put that merch up there. Trivializing the online
community in broad strokes, nobody is going to love
you or like you. The more you try to make them love
you and like you, theyll hate you even more.
I get not pandering to negativity, but support is
a totally different energy we should be welcoming.
That support translated from online to in the building
over time.
On
getting support from wrestling fans: Ive
never had people coming to me and talking to me quite
like this, expressing how they feel about whats
going on. Because whats been happening with
me over the last few months on television and the
presentation of the character, its never really
played out like this. So, a lot of people express
to me what that escapism does for them through entertainment.
Just that that brief relief they can get where they
can put their feet up on the couch after a long day
and just step out of their concerns, their accountabilities,
and their responsibilities and watch something that
they enjoy. And like, to be an outlet for people like
that that Ive never met, until I meet them,
and to know that Im doing that for people. Its
hard to put into words. It feels really good though.
On
not ignoring the crowd: You cant ignore
the crowd in this business. You can try. Its
not going to be good in the end. You dont want
to make your audience feel like they are not part
of this. You cant tell them they are part of
this and they are the universe and are so heavily
involved in every aspect and then tell them certain
subsections dont matter and we cant do
that. That pisses people off and turns people away.

Sam,
youre a good man. I dont know what youre
doing in this business. My dear, hi. Lets talk
about how awesome it is that Logan Paul just won ...
and lets talk about, Sam, lets talk about
what Logan Paul represents. The shortcut ...
It
feels so good to be here, it feels so good to be in
the business, thinking about all the funerals that
I wasnt able to attend for the last 11 years
in this business, all the holidays I missed. You know
I could have just started a YouTube channel, could
have just jumped in there with AJ Styles. It feels
really good, right? Its awesome. Its really
good.
Scarlett:
You know we have 25 years combined experience,
and what are we doing on Mania? ...
They
know because theyre normal human beings, and
they actually love professional wrestling. But apparently
that doesnt mean shit anymore. That doesnt
mean shit. All I asked, all I asked Allen to do, for
once, was to not think about just himself. Think about
everybody in the back, and think about the professional
wrestling fans. Thats all I wanted him to do.
Sometimes
to do the right thing, you have to do the wrong thing.
But hes a narcissist, and he had to things his
way. Hey Allen, how many more WrestleManias do you
have in your system? Probably, I dont know,
one? Maybe this is the last one? And ya just pissed
it away. For what? For your way? Thanks a lot bud,
I really appreciate it.
You
wanna know what the best advice I ever got? It was
from Bill Goldberg. 2021 back when I was in The Twilight
Zone (Sci-fi by Rod Serling), you know what I mean?
Im wrestling for gasoline. It was
awesome, let me tell you all about it.
Bill
goes Hey Kross, you what you? You remind me
a lot of me. I go, I think we have different
styles, Bill, but I really appreciate that. Do you
have any advice for me? And he goes, You
know what, you just gotta be a good soldier.
A
good soldier. A good soldier is what he said.
So
I decided to be a good soldier, you know what happened?
They released me. And then I come back, you know what
being a good soldier gets you here? Everybody here,
just in case youre wondering ... you want the
back scoop here.
Being
a good soldier gets your times cut. Being a good soldier
means that people come up to you and say, Hey
got any great ideas? Yeah, here it is
from Scarlett. No, no, no. Thats
a little too great. Were looking just for good
ideas. Thats for those guys over there.
Thats
what being a good soldier is, ok? Being a good solider
is coming to your hometown where you cut your teeth,
where you got started, and not being on the card.
Its all about viral moments now. Thats
what its all about, viral moments. Well guy,
everybodys been telling me that I gotta become
undeniable, and as soon as it happens they ignore
it, and they shut it down.
I
never asked to wrestle Randy (Orton) I never asked.
That happened organically, and you ignored it for
a viral moment. And good on Joe (Hendry). Nothing
against him. But you ignored it. And the crowd told
you exactly how they felt about me on SmackDown when
I was eliminated, and you ignored it.
Become
undeniable? My ass. My ass! You want a viral moment?
On behalf of all the true fans of professional wrestling,

Origins
Thought
to be currently based out of Las Vegas,
It is said that Killer Kross came from the humble
beginnings of an old New York City in varying locations
from South Brooklyn to Hell's Kitchen as the elusive
individual:
Karrion Arturo Geist.
According to various research and lore collected,
Kross had accumulated a massive amount of wealth competing
in Underground Combat Competitions for The Secret
Wealth themselves amongst the exiles of society. It
is speculated that he was discovered by them at a
time where he was wagering large bets in his youth
to gambling communities that he could punch through
concrete blocks.
This was thought to be a myth up until recently when
video footage began circulating of the feat itself.
In
his time competing Underground,
It is said that he obsessively perfected The Art Of
Hook & Shoot Vale Tudo Pankration; a hybrid variant
grappling system that was also comprised of knockout
strikes, debilitating holds and environmental practicality
principles of turning one's environment around them
into weapons to be used against an enemy.
Word travelled fast about Kross in great haste, but
much of it was kept a secret within controlled channels
for fear that if an individual like this was discovered
in existence of competition settings; the changes
that could take place following his discovery could
be ill-favoured to the ones in current power.
Their concerns were FEAR based.
And out of their fear...
An
unexpected event occurred.
A
Cult Following quickly emerged in Kross's Name amongst
those who saw a truth undeniable to them.
They
called themselves: THE KROSS KVLT.
Many have claimed the group to be secret in nature.
Others have claimed open affiliation.
Some have claimed the group to be multi-faceted in
a wide spectrum of operations ranging from organizing
intel, collecting artifacts and monetary corporate
absorption.
Adding to even more disturbing levels; it has been
rumoured that people from the random general public,
mainstream musicians, political figures and even Law
Enforcement from National to International levels
are suspected to have ties to the group affiliations.
Their official public statement:
We are an organization that brainwashes people
to think for themselves.
Rumours
of the supernatural have always circulated around
Killer Kross pertaining to his colossal physical abilities,
his inhuman constitution for withstanding damage and
his eerie affinity to acquire a surplus of confidential
information on people, places and things.
People have described him as a seemingly empty sinister
ghost at times and yet an all consuming in the same
hand...
Detailing
more information on Killer Kross has been challenging...
He
is very much an evasive figure...
And
yet very much all around us at the same time... perhaps
as a premonition of The End Times itself.
When
his name is heard in droves
he shall appear
Over
the last decade,
Kross has acquired several alias titles from the masses
who have seen him in competition with their very own
eyes.
Such monikers as:
"The
Tollman"
For
leaving coins on the eyes of the defeated and speaking
dreadfully of a fading Time pertaining to paying A
Toll.
"The
Herald Of Doomsday"
For
proclaiming that he brings forth an end to everything
as The Way Of The Future, for the purpose of ushering
in a cryptically descriptive New Beginning.
"The
White Rabbit"
A
horrifying conspiracy theory.
One of many surrounding Killer Kross is the story
heard of a violent Aztec Rabbit Tribe Cult initially
operated by Paul London who worship Kross as the second
coming of Xronos.
"The People's Executioner"
For
participating in events as a Champion hand chosen
by The Crowd to execute their demands in dispatching
a competitor in the most vicious manner.
"The
Devil Of Monterrey"
El
Diablo De Monterrey.
Originally surfacing as a moniker in the newspapers
following a ruthless and merciless systematic annihilation
of virtually an entire roster of competitors in 1
single night which took place in Monterrey, Mexico.
"Rey
De La Maldad"
Translated
as
" King Of The Evil "
Kross has had a hellacious undefeated streak in Lucha
Libre Mexico going on for over one year- and it has
been accomplished by dispatching anyone and everyone
by any means necessary in malicious fashion.

Man: In many ways the highlight of tonight's show,
even though the clip goes for only about a minute.
Ventura is a strong advocate for wrestlers rights,
which is a good thing. "The Body" colour
commentary was one of the aspects we most enjoyed
about pro wrestling from 1985 and into what became
known as the golden era of the WWE (then WWE). Great
to see Ventura connect with the WWE powers that be.
Numerous pro wrestlers impersonate Ventura from time
to time including heel fav Karrion Kross! Ventura
understood and still understands what the pro wrestling
industry is about. In-ring work and the technical
aspects is only part of the equation. It's about the
whole performance aspect of it, as well as using one's
mind, managing the risk, protecting ones self, the
opponent, and so much more. Ventura also holds a big
W over the WWE in a long past business battle. One
of the legends of sports entertainment. Not the greatest
pure technical wrestler, but this is pro wrestling
folks, and Ventura is a true professional and master
of putting together all the elements. He knew what
to do, what to say, and when - timing is everything,
and his colour commentary is/was like magic. Like
"baking a cake" as X Corp founder Elon Musk
may say. You have to get all the ingredients right.
Can't wait to see what's next for Ventura in and around
the WWE Universe. Jesse, Jesse, Jesse! Massive thumbs
